Meet Nargis
Nargis Goldfinger-Rasheed, founder of Sapeda, grew up in Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan. Together with other women in her family, making beauty products was a weekly family ritual.
“I became fascinated by remedies and recipes related to skincare and studied Ayurveda and herbal medicine. When I moved to the Netherlands, I started sharing my homemade creams, masks, and oils with friends, family, and colleagues. In 2019, she left her job in the financial sector and started the Beauty Essence salon. Soon, she began professionally developing her homemade skincare products to use in treatments.”
Philosophy
“I believe in skincare that works, not skincare that promises miracles but delivers little. The world of cosmetic can be overwhelming with countless products that treat symptoms without addressing the real cause of skin issues. That;s why I decided to create my own line of skincare products – mild, effective, and grounded in both tradition and science. At Sapeda, we focus on strengthening and restoring the skin barrier, the foundation of healthy skin, so it can protect itself and maintain its balance.
